These images are the result of a foray into the enigmatic Antarctic Peninsula. Antarctica is like an imaginary place: free from the clutter of daily life, untainted. The endless canvas of silver-white ice and grey-blue water is shimmering and mutable. Set in a pristine environment, untouched by civilization, observing the variety of forms and splendor of the ice formations is entrancing.
